Connecting Through Vulnerability

It feels like every email for the past month or two has been full of information and updates - and this one is no exception.

If you’ve been following along, you know that I have been hinting pretty heavily about the new community that I’m going to open, the BB Collective.

It’s still happening… But, I’ve decided to hit pause.

I was rushing trying to fit into my perceived “perfect timing” - and that’s not how I want to lay the foundation for something that I’m building to last.

Reality set in when I realized that I will be away from home for 4 out of the next 7 weeks🤯

I'll be traveling to Spain with friends and teaching in-person in Oregon! I want to be fully present on those trips and not attached to the computer. And I want to be fully present once the BB Collective begins.

So. This is me sharing the real, honest decisions that go into running my creative business. I’m walking back my decision to open right now, even though I fear it will make me look like someone who can’t commit. (hello past trauma, that likes to try to tell me I’m unreliable and flaky. 🙄)

I am committed to staying vulnerable and sharing what my ongoing process looks like. Both in my business and in art. It’s easy to want to revert to throwing my walls back up and not sharing anything until it’s perfectly in place. I think this world needs more raw vulnerability. Through this, we can see ourselves in one another, which opens up the pathway for us to truly connect.
