You are not alone

May 15, 2026

A direct line from my art table to your inbox—where creativity, connection, and a little chaos collide.

Can we talk for a second?

There are days and weeks where I feel like I could tackle anything.
And then there are others where I feel like I'm just trying to keep my head above water.

There are some weeks where I am guiding thousands of artists through intuitive play online.
And there are others where I struggle to simply reply to emails.

To anyone struggling with their mental health right now. I see you. I’m right there with you. You are not alone.

Finding beauty & intrigue in the mundane

Talking about it when I'm below my baseline, is honestly difficult, uncomfortable, and takes a lot of effort. But I know it's worth it.

Because if anyone were to ask me what my why is, my purpose, I will always answer the same thing— I don't want anyone to feel alone in what they are going through.

Mental health struggles often leave us feeling extremely isolated and yet I know so many of us are fighting these ongoing, often silent, battles.

And as much as I wish I could say that I have it all "figured out" — whatever that means — I don't.

But what I can do is do my best to continue to share my experience and aim for honesty and transparency. (even when things aren't so pretty)

Especially during Mental Health Awareness month.

Nurturing my creativity have been high on the list of things I'm to help dig me out of this "depression hole."

I've been a little more quiet on social media, but only because making art and sharing the art both take energy. And ten times out of ten if my energy capacity is low, I will always prioritize making art over posting about it.

I have continued working on my 100 day project, and I can't believe I'm already creating in journal number 9 of 10! I'll be sure to share complete flip throughs of all of these journals once the project wraps up (and my energy is restored πŸ˜‰).

But for now, I wanted to share 2 upcoming classes that I'm really excited about!

1. The Digital Artists Summit - Starts Monday!
2. The Everything Journal Class - May 31st

First, The Digital Artists Summit, hosted by my pal, Drew Steinbrecher. You may know him from his other popular events, the Collage Makers Summit, which I taught in earlier this year, and the Gel Printers Summit, which happens every fall.

This is the second year for the Digital Artists Summit and I'm so excited it's back!

I'm not teaching at this event, but I will be watching and creating along. I absolutely love the ability to get creative on my iPad, because pulling out a bunch of art supplies is not always possible. You'll often find me creating art on my iPad on flights, car rides, and evenings on the couch.

I think my favorite part is the ability to use my own artwork and collage papers digitally to create something new.

If this sounds like something you might be interested in, early bird pricing is live now and it's only $57!

Early bird ends on Sunday, May 17 and the event starts on Monday! {Price will increase on Monday!}

Next up, my friend Andrea Chebeleu is teaching the "Everything Journal" live at the end of the month! You have probably heard me talk about this journal — I create and fill a new one each quarter and it comes with me everywhere! The lay-flat binding style makes this journal an absolute dream to write and create art in.

I use this journal for, well... everything! My morning pages, brainstorming new classes and events, as a paint palette, a place to collect fodder from everyday life, a calendar, notes... I could go on and on.

{My husband sees me using my everything journal so much, that even he wants to create one for himself!}

This class will take place live on Zoom on Sunday May 31, with access to the recordings to follow. So no worries if you can't attend live.

Early Bird Pricing is only $47 (price will increase to $97 after the 31st)
