Dangerous Inspiration - "Biohazard Prompt" - 5 Minute Challenge
5 Minute Art Challenge - Day 14 - Prompt: Biohazard
hosted by: The Ugly Art Club
Here’s Day 14 of the Ugly Art Club’s 5 minute challenge, the prompt being “biohazard!” Finding inspiration for my biohazard-themed art spread was challenging, but Pinterest came to the rescue! The biohazard symbol really stuck out to me, and I was looking for something that would spark my interest. I used bright green and a biohazard symbol for my abstract piece. Adding collage and hand-drawn elements, I was able to create a cohesive spread in just 5 minutes.

Creating this spread, I mixed colors, added collage elements, and experimented with different art marks to bring my vision to life. Just evaluating my page, seeing what else I want to add, and adding in a few more scribble marks that go on top of that collage section. This helps to integrate the background with the foreground a little bit better. The two pages are not exactly the same, but adding consistency throughout both sides will make it feel a lot more cohesive. It's that asymmetrical balance that I often talk about where you're not trying to do the exact same thing, but bringing in some of those elements makes feel really, cohesive and, pleasant to look at.
