5 Minute Art Challenge - Day 4 - Prompt: Pinecone

The prompt for this spread of the Ugly Art Club's 5-minute challenge was “pinecone” and I immediately envisioned the warm, earthy colors of autumn. It was a perfect opportunity to experiment with different textures and materials, letting my creativity flow without feeling limited by rules. It's okay to take as much or for as little inspiration as you want, it's okay to be super realistic or totally abstract with prompts.

Starting with acrylic ink and card stock, letting the ink blend with the paper, I then incorporated elements like fabric and textiles from recycled clothes, adding a unique dimension to the piece. I find joy in experimenting and playing with different techniques like stapling, sewing, and being open to unexpected outcomes.
