I’ve been so active in my studio this week, that I almost forgot to write to you! But trust me, it’s not because of a lack of excitement.

Side note: does anyone else get so tunnel visioned on what they are doing that they accidentally ghost everything and everyone else?? Not one of my best qualities, but hey, I’m working on balance!

In fact, seeds have started to be planted in my head for my 2026 word of the year, and balance is a theme that is coming up a lot for me these past couple of weeks quickly jots that down in her journal to remember This year my words have been so good to me (for me?) My 2025 words are connection and consistency. An incoming year of balance might be just what I need.

Okay, that went off on a tangent quickly, but really that’s not new 😉🤣

This week has been major - a newly organized and cleaned studio meant that I could stay on track for what I had penciled onto the calendar for this week - filming for the 3rd annual BB Bash! (yes, it’s early but there is SO much that goes into creating and hosting an event for over 10,000 people!)

I was feeling a little bit rusty, so I didn’t want to jump right in to filming. Instead, I thought I would make a series of videos to help everyone prepare for the BB Bash (these won’t be released until January) - but one thing lead to another and I ended up filming for SIX other videos. Some of them will be included for BB Bash Beyond (I’ll explain more at the bottom of this email) and others will be uploaded to YouTube. I sort of just got on a roll and was enjoying myself so much.

This morning, I caught myself in the act of being tough on myself. Writing in my journal that I thought I would be further along in my filming of the prompts (”messy” is done!) but then I stopped myself in my tracks - because I wasn’t really being fair to myself or keeping things in perspective. I created other videos that I’m so excited about (for example: filling my bulletin board with inspiration see photo below, 5 reasons to use a limited color palette, creating a swatch sampler for the BB Bash, and more.)

This was a good reminder that it’s good to zoom out and see things in perspective of the big picture. Sometimes I’m so zoned in on the details that I lose track of everything else. Maybe you do this too - get that tunnel-vision energy where you’re so focused you forget the rest of the world exists for a minute?

I’m going to keep this note short and sweet ☺️ I’m continuing on with my commitment to you (and to myself) to share more of the process and not just the end result. And that goes for the upcoming BB Bash, filming new videos, and getting back on the YouTube train. Because honestly, right now is when my energy is most excited about it and I want you to be a part of that with me.
