Creative time together
October 23, 2026
This week has me looking forward. Thinking about, planning, and taking action on some exciting things happening next year.
A lot of that planning centers around finding ways for us to create together more — both virtually and in person.
If you've been with me for a little while you probably know the event that I'm most giddy about.
I run it once a year — this will be year 4
This year we had over 20,000 participants
It's 2 weeks long
And it's free to join...
That's right... it's the BB Bash!
Okay, so we are still a ways off as the event won't take place until the last two weeks of January 2027 — but you would be amazed how early I start working on everything! In fact, I've been in the studio this week starting to film the video tutorials. And let me tell you, I'm sooo excited for you all to get your eyes on these lessons. 😍
I'll continue to share more as we get closer, but mark the days off on your calendar — January 17-30, 2027.

Next, the thing that I have been keeping quiet about all year has been finalized!!
Come create with me in beautiful Connecticut at the Artists Rising Retreat in October 2027!
The Inky, Stitched, Layered Journal: A Play-filled Mixed Media Retreat
October 3-8, 2027
Join me in the Connecticut River Valley for 4.5 days of smiles, laughter, connection, and lot's of art making! This mixed media, textiles, and art journaling experience will be full of creative demonstrations, with an emphasis on learning to let go of perfectionism, loosen up, and play.

I would be elated to create together in person next year! There is nothing quite like the cycle of inspiration that comes from gathering together to create art. 🩷
