Brave Enough to Take Up Space

Take a listen as I chat with Kellee Wynne on the Made Remarkable Podcast

I had the incredible opportunity to chat with Kellee Wynne on her podcast, Made Remarkable! I have to tell you… Any day that I get to talk with Kellee is a GOOD DAY! We connect on a soul level. From our very first conversation, we have had the ability to cut through the small talk and get straight to the deep stuff.

Have you had those instances in life when you talk with someone and you just know that they get you? Like, really get you. Sure, we have an age gap - but that has never been something that stops me from having a connection with someone. I have been thankful to have her in my life from that very first interaction.

Kellee and I had the opportunity to meet in person in October 2023 during a creative retreat for the Remarkable League. What an incredible few days it was in Annapolis, Maryland gathering with other creative business owners planning out the year ahead.

Take a listen to the latest episode of the Made Remarkable podcast where we talk on a deep personal level and about our journey as artists and business owners.

In this episode we delve into the challenges and triumphs of pursuing creative careers, the power of vulnerability, and the importance of building supportive communities in the creative industry.

Here are 5 key takeaways from this conversation:

  1. Embracing Vulnerability: Kellee and I share our personal experiences and the roller coaster nature of pursuing creative paths, emphasizing the importance of embracing vulnerability as a catalyst for personal and professional growth.

  2. Overcoming Limiting Beliefs: We discuss the transformative power of shifting from a limited mindset to one of abundance, highlighting the impact of mindset shifts on creativity, success, and financial independence.

  3. Building Supportive Communities: Our conversation underscores the importance of surrounding oneself with the right people for personal and business growth, fostering a sense of community and support within the art and business world.

  4. Taking Up Space: Being vulnerable and making the commitment to yourself to take up space. Kellee and I talk about how easy it is to want to make yourself smaller rather than being brave enough to take up enough space to affect change.

  5. The Ripple Effect of Creativity: Emphasizing the impact of creativity on personal growth, the community, and the world, challenging the notion that only certain forms of art or creativity are valid.

If these topics resonate with you, I know that you will really enjoy listening to this episode! Go ahead and take a listen and come back to let me know what you think!

Thank you for being here with me and for being a part of my community. I am thankful for you and I just want you to know that. Thanks for being you!
