Vintage Tape & Bold Art Marks
Play Along Journal Series Week 35
I always love showing you different ways to take inspiration from your handmade art journal and work from it. It's so fulfilling to see how a little bit of creativity and some carefully chosen materials can transform a blank page into a work of art.
In this journal, I shared some of my favorite techniques, like using vintage tape from UmWow Studios, adding marks with a Stablio Woody, and integrating collage pieces with gesso to create cohesive and dynamic spreads. The flexibility and variety that come with using pre-made marks and collage elements really give you the opportunity to play with composition and make your designs go off the page, adding a lot more interest. It's all about layering and integrating different elements to create a harmonious and visually interesting composition.
