Hi fellow artist 😄 Yes, you! Because do you want to know the only difference between an artist and someone who wishes they were? It's the willingness to claim the title! For so much of my life I didn't call myself an artist. Creative, yes. But an artist — absolutely not! That was a title reserved for only the "real" artists. You know what I mean, there is probably an image that pops into your head of what a "real" artist looks like. For me, it was always someone who could draw realistically. And while I'm still in awe of that skill, I firmly believe that the title isn't reserved special just for them. About 5 years ago, I finally started calling myself an artist, and truly believing it. It felt like a weight had been lifted. I finally had the freedom to be ME. And let me tell you, the power that I felt (and still feel) from fully embodying myself is everything. I stopped waiting to be given the title. Because the thing is... you're never going to feel it until you believe it for yourself. It's time to officially coronate yourself as ARTIST.
