Exploring Artistic Evolution
Play Along Journal Series Week 37
I cannot believe this is Week 37 of the Play Along Journal series! It has been so much fun to look back over the weeks and see all of the different comments you all have had about this little art adventure I’ve brought you on. I want to share a cool tip with you in this week’s video about how to keep your journal from getting lopsided when it becomes chunky towards the end. It's all about creating balance and evenness. I love experimenting with different techniques and materials, especially in creating layers and points of interest on the pages.
In this week's spread, I showcased two versions - one with a bit more going on and the other is more simplified. For me, the layers in my journal aren’t just visual, they’re a multi-sensory experience and I love adding that element to my journals.
