Abstract Black & White Watercolor
Play Along Journal Series Week 11 Part 2
Check out how I experiment with watercolors! I love playing with watercolor paints and learning how to maximize their effects on different types of paper, especially watercolor paper that absorbs the paint beautifully. I feel that we can take making art so seriously when it should be a fun thing. It should be something that can help us relax and let go and let loose. When I let loose, play, and enjoy the process, then I enjoy the outcome no matter what.
Neutrals like the power of black, white, and gray tones in watercolor can be extremely powerful in your artwork, creating stunning and dynamic visual impacts in your journal and accentuating your focal points on pages. Black and white tones can be so dynamic in art. Don't be afraid to embrace the simplicity and add a pop of color as an accent.
