Play Along Journal Series Week 12 Part 2
In this journal spread, I dive into the world of texture and how it adds an unexpected touch to my art journal pages. I love experimenting with different materials, and fabric is my go-to choice for adding that extra dimension. I find joy in figuring out alternative methods, which often lead to even better results and spark new ideas. Collaging bits and pieces feels like solving a jigsaw puzzle, slowly moving things around until they fit perfectly.
Texture for me always adds a bit of interest, and it's kind of that unexpected touch, so my go-to for adding texture is usually fabric of some kind. I think that's one of my favorite things about art. It's the problem-solving that we do along the way... And oftentimes, I find an even better way than the first way that I had in my head or something that sparks new ideas entirely.
